For the 2023 Super Bowl held in Phoenix, AZ, our company was tasked with providing a variety of specialized flooring solutions to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of multiple event spaces. This case study details the various products used, the challenges faced, and the innovative solutions implemented to ensure the success of the event’s infrastructure.

Challenges

  • Logistical Coordination: The installation of diverse flooring types across multiple locations required meticulous planning. Our team coordinated closely with event planners and venue managers to ensure timely and accurate setup.

 

  • Durability and Aesthetics: The need for flooring that was both durable for high traffic and aesthetically pleasing was met by selecting and customizing products that provided both functionality and visual appeal.

 

  • Customization Requirements: Given the high visibility of the Super Bowl, custom branding was critical. We manufactured and installed flooring that featured team logos, sponsor branding, and thematic graphics, enhancing the immersive experience of the event.

    • Location: Tempe Beach Park
    • Size: 4,400 sqft
    • Use: Pedestrian subfloor for a custom inlaid turf football field
    • Description: Served as a durable and visually appealing base for event activities, complementing the thematic decor.
  3. Choice Turf:
    • Size: 100,000 sqft
    • Use: Versatile covering for asphalt parking lots, concrete surfaces, and beneath other flooring solutions
    • Description: Enhanced the comfort and appearance of various event spaces, providing a uniform look across different areas.
  4. Plush Event Carpet:
    • Location: Hotel ballroom (corporate event)
    • Use: Aesthetic enhancement over existing carpet
    • Description: Transformed the space with a luxurious gold carpet, elevating the event’s elegance.

    • Use: Modern surface overlay for event spaces
    • Description: Provided a sleek, contemporary finish, adaptable to various event themes.
  6. Custom Inlaid Pebble Beach Turf and Custom Printed Carpet:
